What the heck am I thinking???

So here I am, joining the blog world. I never thought I would do this, this blogging thing, but something has inspired me. I must first apologize for my writing skills, in case you didn't know, I'm a math teacher, which means my writing skills have not been tweaked in quite awhile (let's say almost 10 years ago in my college freshmen English class). But here I go giving it a chance...

Every where I look I find blogs about babies, family, life, etc. I don't have babies, but I have a wonderful husband, family and a life that seems to keep me entertained and extremely happy! The stories my life creates could be made into books (yes that would be plural). I often imagine my life as a reflection of the Brady Bunch. My husband had his stuff, I had my stuff, and now we have our stuff and that includes our dogs, their collars should read "His, Hers & Ours."

Our dogs seem to rule our life, but yet we love it! We have four lovely children: Bailey, the 90 lb chocolate lab (his); Olive, the 60 lb black lab (his); Maggie, the overweight mutt that was rescued (hers & I politely decline to give up her weight, she would be embarrassed); and lastly and certainly not least, Heidi, the "mini" basset hound (only weighing in at 30 lbs and the one that inspired this blog).

So I'm dedicating this blog to my "children." I want to share the crazy stories that make us laugh everyday, that makes us want to hug them, love them and even invite them into the bed to cuddle at night. Keep posted, it should get interesting!
